Camp

We won't be blogging much for a couple of months

It may sound counterintuitive but the summertime is a tough time to blog for a summer camp! We are so busy with our campers that we just do not have the time to write meaningful blog posts.

That does not mean that we are totally off the grid all summer! We regularly post pictures, videos and stories on our Instagram account so give our page a follow and join in on the fun!

summer feels...

Spring is a busy time for Water Monkey. We have been hard at work getting camp ready, working out logistics with campers and staff and doing lots of private lessons on the lake. Yesterday afternoon I took a breather after covering the boats for the day. Our spot is perfect...

Glassy water and ridiculous boats.

camp is getting close! (let us know if you need help with paperwork)

One of the not-so-glamourous parts of making camp happen each year is assembling the endless paperwork that is required of us by the State of NH and our insurance companies. We just sent out individual reminders to all of our camp families but if you feel lost please feel free to e-mail or call any time for clarification.

where's the wake boat version?

I love Tesla. I love how they are reimagining the future of automobiles, home power and mass production. This concept electric boat utilizes two Model-S 'engines' to create 1800 horsepower!

We are still waiting for an all-electric wakeboard boat. Thousands of pounds of batteries would pump some serious wake and help us reduce our carbon footprint each summer. Someone dial up Mr. Musk and tell him to get cracking!

Spring Projects!

With warm weather comes spring projects! We have a big to-do list around the property and have been working hard on landscaping, cleaning and improving all aspects of our camp.

Our camp location used to be a cottage rental business and each cabin had an oven (which we disconnected when we moved in in 2015). This week we removed all of the old ovens and built new shelving in their place. We will be putting little bins on each shelf for our campers to use for extra storage.

We will be hard at work through the rest of the spring as camp gets closer!
